Woodburned Flower Press
Join us for a fun and creative woodburning workshop at Green Bay Botanical Garden! Under the guidance of a local artist Jennifer Frisch of Coneflower Creations, you'll learn the basics of woodburning while crafting and personalizing your very own Flower Press. You'll create a one-of-a-kind functional tool you can use for years to come. As a bonus, you’ll discover how to preserve flowers and leaves collected from your garden, favorite hiking trails, or special occasions. Pressed and dried flowers can be used in a variety of creative projects, including greeting cards, bookmarks, framed artwork, journals, scrapbooks, and home décor.
No prior woodburning experience is necessary, but open to all levels! Jennifer will provide all the tools and supplies you need to design and create your own stunning art piece. There are many designs to choose from, or you can bring your own image to fit on a 6”x6” board (image size 5”x 5” is ideal). Don’t miss this chance to learn this creative and meditative craft, unleash your artistic side, and take home a unique creation that you made yourself!
