Making Recycled Paper

Papermaking is a wonderful way to recycle paper that might have easily been thrown away. You can be successful on the very first try, but you can also bring your creation to the next level by decorating, folding, stitching, or weaving it. You can make it into useful products, like cards, small books, bookmarks and tags.

In this one day retreat, we’ll have the opportunity to make paper…which gets us up and moving! We’ll make some time to sit, stitch, and decorate as well. We will use the pour method which allows us to change colors and make each piece unique. Whether you’ve made paper before or this is your very first time, all are welcome. All that is required is a playful spirit.
