Eric Peters, Tai Chi Instructor
Explore the movement of Tai Chi! Tai Chi is a mind-body practice that builds strength, balance, and mobility through fluid movements and focused awareness. It helps improve coordination, posture, and flexibility while building strength without strain. Through mindful breathing and meditative focus, the practice also helps calm the mind, reduce stress, improve concentration, and create a grounded sense of clarity.
Classes are taught at an easy-to-follow pace, with movements that can be adapted to any ability level, making the experience both accessible and engaging for everyone.
Weather permitting, class will take place out in the Garden, with an indoor location reserved if needed.
Eric Peters has been teaching Tai Chi for over 20 years, helping students improve balance, strength, and mobility while also supporting emotional well-being and stress reduction. His approach focuses on making Tai Chi accessible and beneficial for people of all experience levels.
Eric finds the greatest joy in teaching through seeing his students progress and gain confidence in mind, body and spirit. Sharing the benefits he has experienced through Tai Chi is what motivates him most as an instructor, and his classes are guided with mindfulness, encouragement, and patience.
