So, you want to create a cottage garden at home?! Join us for a three-part series that will spark your creativity just in time to help you plan your garden for the coming season. Learn the basics of cottage garden design, favorite plants and combinations, and inspiration to create your own, unique growing structures. Sign up for all three classes for the full experience!

April 15: Supporting a Cottage Garden – Build Unique Structures to Grow Vertically

Once you’ve chosen your plants, you may realize some of them have a tendency to sprawl and need additional growing support. This class will provide general guidelines of how to go about building your own unique growing structures, including which tools, supplies, and materials are commonly used in the Vanderperren English Cottage Garden, as well as favorite plants to grow vertically. Photos of previously built and existing structures will spark your creativity, as you finally realize why a cottage gardener never throws anything away!
