Flowering shrubs are an often-overlooked element of the summer garden and landscape. So many of us focus on perennials and annuals, hanging baskets and containers and we forget the architecture, color, beauty and form that flowering shrubs provide. We’ll take a look at some of the hottest flowering shrubs, as well as many of the newest varieties available to gardeners this coming growing season.
