Join us for one or two classes all about herbs! *Get a $5 discount if you take both classes on May 6 and September 25!

Session 1: Herb Garden Planning, Tuesday, May 6 | 6–8 pm

We’ll discuss the many and traditional uses of herbs – from culinary to botanical healing aids, and designing your personal herb garden specific to you and your family’s needs. Companion planting, container gardening, crop rotation, and garden locations done properly will all enhance your output and increase your success. 

You’ll have an herb garden planning tool to help you on your way through the summer days and questions will be answered via email.   

 

Session 2: Harvesting, Preserving, & Preparing Your Herb Garden, September 25 | 6–8 pm

We’ll discuss creative ideas for how to use what you’ve grown – harvesting (when and how), preservation methods and storing specific to what you have grown. We’ll make a syrup mix, a tincture, and two other make & takes that you can take with you that you may need during the winter.
